Play On!

So can't wait to see the Carrie Underwood concer tonight. She rocks, rolls, and is a little bit country. I've heard she has a great show this year with a lot of skits and stage glamour. YIPEE - YAHOO!!
She is one of my top three female entertainers (Martina McBride and Celine Dion being the other two).
A full report will be located here tomorrow.
In the meantime, Play On!
Stay tuned....

It's A Wrap

Had the funnest weekend (all of them seem to be fun these days).
- Attended the Hannah Nicole Vineyards Music in the Vineyards. Great band called "Top Shelf"; good mix of music and dancing
- Went to an after party at CoCo County Wine Bar - too much fun with friends. Everyone was feeling good and laughing lots
- Pedicure: my toes are greatful and beautiful
- A fun night in San Francisco. Went to Palomino's; great food and environment; they have killer deals in the bar; 1/2 price appetizers 7 days a week (all day); $5 pizzas; view of the bay bridge; it was so nice to try some place new
- Tres Agaves: Went for some after dinner drinks: margaritas. I had a double scoop sundae - super yummy
- Sunday we went on a Delta Boat Cruise - met some new friends, had a delicious meal, cruised the delta at sunset, and had a nice wrap to the weekend.

Until the next time,

Weekend Events

Breanna and Matt having fun at Julia's party
Expert bubble blower!

Julia's favorite gift - a bag of Oreo's

The past weekend was yet another set of fun days.

Friday night: Celebrated Bill's 46th birthday with fajitas, margaritas, vino, and cake. It was a good gathering of friends and food.

Saturday: Hit up my bag sale in Walnut Creek; always love a bargain. Can't pass up a bag full of clothes for $10. Snugged up a few cute dresses, tops, and capris.

Saturday night: Celebrated Julia's 12th birthday at Tivo's ranch. The Taco Man was presented and put together carne asada, pastor, and pork tacos - oh so yummy - with all the fixings. There were plenty of drinks to go around: margaritas, Coronas (plus lots of other beer), Rum, Vodka, sodas -- the possibilities were endless. Has some delicious ice cream cake from Dairy Queen - I actually had 2 pieces (yes - that's why my bum is getting bigger).

Sunday: Greg and Breanna took me to lunch for Mother's Day. After lunch, Breanna and I took a drive out to the delta and then finished off the day by having my family over for a Mother's Day dinner (fettucini alfredo with chicken or shrimp, fresh french bread, a delicious almond/strawberry tort). Greg surprised with with 2 dozen yellow roses - so pretty! Mandy surprised me with a dozen chocolate covered strawberries - my favorite. Breanna took me to lunch on Saturday and hung out with madre the whole weekend. Great times.

Until next time, be happy.

Sharks Territory

I had a first this weekend - I went to a Shark's Hockey game. It was very intense. Never really knew how the Shark's fans were so loyal. Although we didn't root for the Shark's (Red Wings), I admired the support of the Shark's fans. The Shark's took it home - 4 - 3.

It was a very exciting, fast paced game. So much better live.

My friend even got body checked in the bathroom - those Shark's fans are relentless.

I can offiicially cross this item off my Bucket List.

A Little Bit of Sugar

If you ever have the need to go to an energetic, fun, enthusiastic concert, go see Sugarland, The Incredible Machine Tour. They are so very talented, creative and fun!

Breanna and I went to see their performance on April 30 and they rocked the house. The stage set was explosive, unique and fun. Their songs are catchy, upbeat, and down to earth. (I think this was one of Breanna's favorite concerts to date).

The crowd was responsive and stood during the whole concert.

To say the least, it was a sweet concert! Can't wait for their next tour.
