Another....
fun weekend was had!
Friday I started the day with a Dance Party - Zumba! It was totally fun and energizing! Later that day - 2 hrs. of intense racquetball - loved it! Great cardio for the day.
Saturday I had to do domestic chores (somehow this has to get done inbetween all the fun). It was the day of our annual holiday party for realtors so we went to Campo di Bocce in Livermore - party bus and all. It was my very first time playing bocce ball and it was a blast. This particular restaurant has indoor bocce lanes so we were able to dodge the rain. The food was super yummy. Great idea for birthdays, parties, or a gathering with friends. Ended the evening in Brentwood at the cigar lounge as we danced into the wee hours of the night.
Sunday was another wine getaway day with Mona and Peanut. Started at Hannah Nicole Vineyards and then headed to Livermore: McGrail and Concannon (first visit to the later). Concannon has a great tasting "restaurant" and tasting room - quite a bit different than just your norm.
For dinner: Strizzi's (super delicious italian food). Ended the day at the Warren Miller Heli-Ski movie.
Another wonderful weekend had by all.
Cheers,
V

Release
Date: November 13, 2010
Temperature: 77 degrees
Location: Napa Valley
Winery: Alpha Omega
Participants: Marc, Franci, Greg, Veronique
Event: Wine Release Party
We had the best time attending a wine release at Alpha Omega. It was like a summer day in the middle of November; great wine, scrumptious appetizers, superb company, and a beautiful location. Who could ask for more! We were so content that we did not even venture off to any other winery.
We ended our day with a delicious meal at Rutherford Grille - one of our ultimate favorites!
It was the best day!

Up and Over
The past weekend was filled with up and overs.
Friday: Had a great evening at a new Mexican restaurant - Orale, Orale. My friends say they have killer margaritas. The food was excellent! We jetted over to CoCo County wine bar for some entertainment and relaxation.
Saturday: Up at 7:00 a.m. Off shopping at 9:15 a.m. Up and over the mountains at the Upper Rim of the Lafayette Reservoir with Monica on our 6-mile hike. It was a goregous day! Not a cloud in the sky. By the end of our hike, we had sore hips, thighs, and Monica even had a blister; however, our hearts were happy! We headed over to Tomatina's for a yummy salad and garlic rolls. Made our way up to Victor's house for a visit with the kids. Had a quick bite to eat at Panda Express and met our friends over at Grazzie's for cocktails and chatter.
Sunday: Up at 7:00 a.m. Off to Sacramento to help Breanna move into a 2-bdrm. apt. Dodging the rain the entire day, we managed to pick everything up and move it over to her new apartment. It was a challenge! More sore hips and thighs. Next move: Dec 17 (Mandy over to Sacramento).
I'm over it! I'm tired and need to get up early tomorrow.

Spooks and Sparkles
Mary Ann and Skipper

The crew of Gilligan's IslandWe had a great time on Halloween!
Started our annual wine venture in the Livermore Valley. The boys are always a hit in costume. Had a great lunch at the Alehouse in downtown Livermore - got to watch some of the World Series. GO GIANTS!
We regained our title of "Best Costume" at the annual CoCo County Wine Bar Halloween Party - YIPEE! Had a great time dancing, laughing, and spooking.
We are diligently working on strategies for next year's costume. Any ideas are welcome!
And the best part of November thus far.....Giants won the World Series!!!!
Cheers,
