Green Day

Had a great time celebrating St Patty's with my friends on Saturday. We went dancing -- the club was all decked out with balloons, green glow sticks, and green bead necklaces. A fun time had by all; now I'm paying the price with a cold!! Hope to get well soon -- can't be laid up for long; I have fun to tend to.

Fun with Friends

Hi all,
What a fun weekend I had with friends. We danced the night away! Went to a new club on Friday (played a lot of cool old school, techno, country, salsa). It was fun! Sat. went to boot scoot and had a ball! My hips are feeling the after affects today. What great exercise; a great time to spend with friends; and enjoy some good music. Can't wait to do it again real soon.

Lights Out

Howdy!
Yesterday a funny thing happened. Greg and I went out for some Mexican food at a total dive that we've been to a thousand times (yes, it'super yummy) and five minutes into the meal, the power went out. Yes - we continued to scarf down our yummy dinner in total darkness. It was fun (and different). I think I was eating things I don't normally eat!

Special Day

Today is my daughter's (Breanna's) 21st birthday! It's so hard for me to believe that 21 years have gone by. I still remember holding her for the first time; escorting her to kindergarten; the big step to jr. high; and the huge step to high school. All these thoughts seem like they just happened minutes ago. I'm so proud as she's ending her 3rd year of college. We are going to celebrate with her and her friends today in Elk Grove. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDDO! I love you!

Dancin' Shoes

Hi all,
What a whirl wind of a weekend! My girlfriend Lori was visiting from Lubbock, TX and we had a ball!
Friday: Went to dinner and then country dancing; boot scoot and boogie!
Saturday: Went to visit the Elk Grove house and Breanna; went to lunch and then to a movie. Freshened up and then went to dinner and salsa dancing in San Francisco. What a blast! We ran into our salsa teacher there completely by surprise. I got one long dance in with him.
Sunday: Went to Napa Valley with Matt/Meghan. Enjoyed five wineries, wine tasting (I had water), lunch at Armadillo's and then dinner in Concord (Claim Jumper's).

It was a full weekend of laughter, fun, festivities and fatigue!

I miss my buddy already.

Sea Fun

Just got back from Pebble Beach, CA! What an amazingly beautiful weekend; it was 70 degrees on the golf course. We had fun seeing all the celebs (Kevin Costner, wife and baby, Kevin James, Ray Ramono, Huey Lewis, George Lopez and many more). The course is breathtaking and I'm glad I was able to experience the Pro Am. We also visited Carmel and all it's quaint shops/restaurants. Great weekend with friends.

Pebble Beach, CA

Hi there,
So glad it's Friday; we're off to Pebble Beach (Monterey, CA) for the Pro Am Celebrity Golf Tournament. I've never been to this challenge and can't wait to see what it's all about. We're carpooling with our friends Matt/Meg. They are expecting sunny skies in Monterey so that will make the stay even more enjoyable. As proof, I will post some photos here next week.
