Small Town

Howdy,
Did the cowgirl thing this weekend! Went to the Oakdale Rodeo/Dance. It was a hometown, good, ole rodeo in a small town. The turn-out was great! It was a warm, sunny day; lots of dirt, cowboys, and action. The dance was held in a hall on the fairgrounds; wasn't what I expected but they made the best of it. It almost seemed like a barn dance. Two bands performed (not so good) and there was a lot of boot scootin' going on. It was a fun weekend of sun, fun, and dance.

Rascal Flatts

Hi all,
Had an absolute blast on Friday night -- went to the Rascal Flatts concert. The opener was Taylor Swift -- she's so young and vibrant; sang all her good songs off her first album. The main guys (The Flatts) were outstanding!! The crowd was definitely pumped and the show was awesome! They had great show pyrotechnics, cool video clips and an awesome stage set-up. The concert was sold out and the crowd went wild! So fun!

Rodeo Days

Hi all,
Had another fantastic weekend with friends. Friday we had a fun night dancing the night away. Saturday was the Grand National Rodeo; such a great sport. The competition was fierce and the viewing was spectacular. We all had a great time.

Strait to You

Hi all,
Had another fantastic, fun-filled weekend. Friday we went to the George Strait concert; so much fun. Little Big Town opened and they are great. George is so smooth and classy! Loved it! Saturday went to a rhythmic gymnastics/trampoline competition and then dancing with friends. Never a dull moment. Love those weekends.
