Dancin' Shoes

Hi all,
What a whirl wind of a weekend! My girlfriend Lori was visiting from Lubbock, TX and we had a ball!
Friday: Went to dinner and then country dancing; boot scoot and boogie!
Saturday: Went to visit the Elk Grove house and Breanna; went to lunch and then to a movie. Freshened up and then went to dinner and salsa dancing in San Francisco. What a blast! We ran into our salsa teacher there completely by surprise. I got one long dance in with him.
Sunday: Went to Napa Valley with Matt/Meghan. Enjoyed five wineries, wine tasting (I had water), lunch at Armadillo's and then dinner in Concord (Claim Jumper's).

It was a full weekend of laughter, fun, festivities and fatigue!

I miss my buddy already.

Sea Fun

Just got back from Pebble Beach, CA! What an amazingly beautiful weekend; it was 70 degrees on the golf course. We had fun seeing all the celebs (Kevin Costner, wife and baby, Kevin James, Ray Ramono, Huey Lewis, George Lopez and many more). The course is breathtaking and I'm glad I was able to experience the Pro Am. We also visited Carmel and all it's quaint shops/restaurants. Great weekend with friends.

Pebble Beach, CA

Hi there,
So glad it's Friday; we're off to Pebble Beach (Monterey, CA) for the Pro Am Celebrity Golf Tournament. I've never been to this challenge and can't wait to see what it's all about. We're carpooling with our friends Matt/Meg. They are expecting sunny skies in Monterey so that will make the stay even more enjoyable. As proof, I will post some photos here next week.

Food for Thought

Hi all,
Had a great weekend with friends and family. Did a karokee night/game night on Friday; had a ball. This is a great way to bring on the laughter!

Got productive and finished a recipe book for my daughter -- turned out super cute and I hope she'll treasure these family recipes.

Tackling this new week with optimism and creative juices.

1, 2 & 3

Had a ball last night at salsa! Learning to dance with different partners (short ones, tall ones, fast ones, clueless ones). It's a good lesson of laughter! Can't wait to master the moves; maybe one day I can be on Dancing with the Stars.

Fun Weekend

I'm here but very sore. My friends and I went out for some fun this weekend. We went and danced the night away. My leg, hips and thighs are too old for such action. We had a lot of giggles! I also went to hike the stairs to Coit Tower -- 435 steps to be exact. Beautiful view on such a very crystal, clear day! I ended my day with a night out to see the movie "The Bucket List" -- outstanding movie - a must see!

Grooves On

What a fun night we had! We started our salsa dance class yesterday. It's great exercise and tons of fun with friends. It's an eight week class so we'll see how my skills improve; at least I'll have the basics down.

Another wet week is coming our way. YEAH -- we won't have a dry, rationed summer.
