Pedaling through the Vineyards

Hi all,
We had another great weekend! We entered a charity event in Napa, CA benefiting the blind and the veterans. We rode 25 miles on our bikes through the vineyards, wineries and backroads. It was a beautiful ride for a beautiful cause. In the morning when we first arrived, the hot air balloons were gliding across the vineyards. Definitely made it for a good welcome.

After our picturesque ride, we drove to Chico to help Mandy assemble some furniture for her room; she finally got rid of my childhood furniture which dated back 35 years. The bed frame she was using dated by 50 years. As you can see, she was well overdue for new furniture. We spent 4 hours assembling everything and she now has a modern, beautiful bedroom. She was very appreciative. After our assembly, we took the girls (Mandy and her roommate) to dinner at the yummiest Mexican food restaurant we've experienced. I can't wait to go back!

I hope you all had a great weekend filled with sunshine, warmth and good times.
V
